Volunteers are needed to help unload our delivery of 630 cases of clays at skeet range on the Griswold Property. Volunteers will load cases into the high house and low house. Assembly lines have worked well in the past.
Please park in the grass area, which frees up the range parking area for the tractor trailer to maneuver.
Please arrive by 7:45AM and bring gloves.
If you can volunteer, please contact Sunnie & Mike Robinson at robbiewife@aol.com so we know how many to count on.

The rifle range has been leveled somewhat and a drainage plan is in place.
New target berms have been added at 25, 50 & 100 yds. However, the berms are not finished yet. Target holders will be added to the back side of the berms when things thaw out!!.

All MRAGC sanctioned matches for the month, open for registration/sign up in Practiscore on the 1st of each month. You must have a Practiscore account to register for any match. Practiscore (PS) accounts are free and only require an email. When in PS, search under matches, for MRAGC. Matches fill up fast so don't delay!!! Register as soon as it opens
22 Rimfire Rifle Classifications are based on definitions in International Benchrest Shooter (IBS) Rules for Rimfire Score Competition (Rev 1.0.1 1/1/202).

June 2024 - Dane Yaworsky was announced as our 2024 Mystic Rod and Gun Club Scholarship Award winner. Dane is a graduate of Stonington High School and will be attending the University of Connecticut at Avery Point.

Join Mystic Rod & Gun‘s Bullseye Pistol Team.
The Pistol Team is part of the New London County Pistol League, along with about 8 other local club teams, all in NL county.
The team shoots every Monday evening, either at home or an away range, from September to mid-March 7p to @9p. We shoot a 30 shot NRA National Match Course.
Anyone 17-80* are welcomed and encouraged to give it a try. No experience necessary. We can show you how it's done :)

Join us for fun and skeet shooting on the first Thursday of every month at about 5:30 PM.
Never shot before? No problem! We will let you borrow one of our shotguns. We shoot under the lights! Please bring hearing protection, eye protection, and a box or two (depending on how much you want to shoot!!!!) of 12 gauge or 20 gauge shotgun shells ~ whichever you prefer! We hope to see you there!!!
Join us for outdoor Pistol & Rifle matches. The club sponsors Rimfire (22 cal) Challenge matches, ICORE revolver matches and Steel Challenges (USPSA).
Matches are listed in the club calendar (link above) and can be signed up for in Practiscore. (Search for our club name "MRAGC" to find our events**)

All Griswold Ranges are open 7 days. Pheasant hunting season has concluded.
Improvements are being made to the rifle range and thus it's use maybe impacted during the week.
Please walk and clear the range prior to shooting!!
