Everyone needs to improve their basic marksman ship and firearms safety. The Mystic Rod and Gun club is offering a Basic Pistol shooting workshop, This is NOT to be confused with the the CT pistol permit course. This seminar will not satisfy those requirements.". Topics will include Basic firearms safety and marksmanship skills, to include: Grip, stance, shooting positions, breathing, trigger control, proper sight alignment, and follow through. This may sound basic but even the seasoned shooter needs to go back to the basics to teach the new shooters proper form and not bad habits. There will be a dry fire portion and live fire. All participants must bring eye protection and hearing protection. This seminar will be on 2/10/18 at 9 AM at the Stonington indoor range, seats are limited to the first 16 members or family, the cost will be $20 per shooter and lunch will be provided. If interested or want more in formation contact Jim Gauthier at 860-884-4795
