Skeet and Trap shooting is available at our Griswold property on our LIGHTED field.

Open shoots for fun Thursday nights around 5:30p - 8ish

Team practices & Matches are on Sunday mornings Jan-Mar

Skeet Range is closed for team practice from 10a - 1p Sundays Jan-Mar

MRGC supports a Skeet/Trap team (The Sure Shots) that competes in a local Skeet league

Skeet/Trap cost $3 for members & $3.50 for non-members, per round

The Griswold property supports the opportunity to hunt pheasant, turkey, deer and small game during the associated firearms and archery seasons. 

Contact the Club President,  Pete Dyer, PRIOR to hunting on club property to arrange for a hunting permit, property orientation & rules review.

For the safety of the hunters, ALL OUTDOOR RANGES ARE CLOSED ON SATURDAYS, DURING PHEASANT SEASON.

Rifle, Pistol & Skeet ranges will have notices posted and/or will be cordoned off with yellow caution tape.

Pheasants are stocked on Saturday mornings during the season,  from mid October until end of February (or whenever we run out of birds.)

MRGC hosts monthly Rimfire, ICORE, USPSA Steel Challenge and other matches open to the public. 

Outdoor matches run March thru October. Match sign ups are through PractiScore. Search for events by club "MRAGC"

• NRA certified basic pistol safety course required for CT carry permits
• Basic reloading for pistol or rifle
• Pistol or Rifle cleaning and maintenance. 

All at our Stonington clubhouse. 

100 yard range with 5 covered points, offers the opportunity to practice your outdoor rifle and/or pistol shooting at the Griswold location.

Dedicated Pistol Pits for action shooting. Each having static and falling Steel plates, are available at the Griswold location

Mystic R&G has a Bullseye pistol team.  Matches are with .22 caliber pistols, on the indoor 50 foot range. An NRA National Match Course of fire is a total of 30 rounds fired in three stages. 10 Slow, 10 Timed, & 10 Rapid  The matches are fired on Monday nights 7pm
